We’ve had the privilege of producing two short films for Smart Kids with Learning Disabilities, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering families and raising awareness.
The most recent film, MY SUPER POWER, released in 2024, features Smart Kids honorary chair Heny Winkler (Happy Days, Barry), who shares his personal story of growing up with undiagnosed dyslexia. Alongside him, several families speak candidly about their journeys—highlighting the challenges, resilience, and breakthroughs that come with learning disabilities. The film is now being used to educate, inspire, and reassure families that they’re not alone.
The earlier film, TEN MILLION KIDS, is a poignant animated short that emphasizes the vital role parents play in helping children with learning disabilities thrive. It was created with the generous talents of Pulitzer Prize-winning cartoonist Matt Davies and Grammy-winning musicians Omar Hakim and Rachel Z, who helped turn an important message into a memorable and accessible resource.
